America Reveals New Sixth-Generation Fighter Jet

President Donald Trump revealed on Friday that Boeing will be constructing America’s next generation of fighter jets: the F-47.

In a press conference with United States Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, the president confirmed the new line of fighters will be built on the ngad platform (next generation air dominance), which is intended to allow stealth capabilities, drone technology and other systems to “simultaneously interact to ensure air superiority.”

The new F-47 will eventually replace the Air Force’s F-22 Raptor.

Specs: The F-47, which reportedly costs less than the previous generation, will have a more modern weapons platform, longer range, advanced stealth capabilities and a higher availability. The fleet of fighter jets is slated to be built and in the air during Trump’s administration.

The contract is a much-needed win for Boeing, which has suffered a series of major setbacks in recent years. Its stock rose 5 percent after President Trump’s announcement.

Confidence:

[The F-47] sends a very direct, clear message to our allies that we’re not going anywhere and to our enemies that we can, and we will, be able to project power around the globe, unimpeded, for generations to come.
—Pete Hegseth

With the F-47, we will strengthen our global position, keeping our enemies off-balance and at bay, and when they look up, they will see nothing but the certain defeat that awaits those who dare to challenge us.
—David Allvin, chief of staff

America appears confident that this new generation of stealth fighter jets will help solidify its position as the dominant power in the world. Trump has made clear that he believes in Ronald Reagan’s phrase “peace through strength.” Will these jets be enough?

Prophecy says: The Bible prophesies of a great war-making power in the end time, but America is not that power. This military union will exceed the strength of the United States and eventually conquer it. No sixth-generation fighter jet can stop these prophecies.
