Iran Nuclear Threat Now ‘Extreme Danger’
“Since February 2024 … the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear program has worsened significantly,” the Institute for Science and International Security said Tuesday.
The institute cited multiple factors to support labeling the situation “extreme danger”: Iran’s recent military failures against Israel, its growing nuclear ability, its increasing urgency and “the growing normalization of internal Iranian discussions favoring building nuclear weapons.”
Iran has also been uncooperative with the International Atomic Energy Agency’s attempts to examine its program.
