Euro Crisis: The Winner Is … Guess Who?
While doom and gloom sweep the eurozone, rippling around the world to the point of Wednesday’s panic move by central banks, one nation has gleaned tremendous rewards amid other nations’ multibillion-euro losses.
Consider some very recent headlines:
“German Jobs, Retail Sales Offer Fare Eurozone Cheer”
“German Defense Exports Rise Sharply”
“German Jobless Slip as Companies Defy Crisis”
“Surprise Bounce in German Business Confidence”
These results are not surprising to anyone who took the trouble to study just who was behind the creation of the eurozone per the Maastricht Treaty in 1992, and the true imperialist motives of those elites.
The sharpest of analysts at the time deduced that with Germany as its main instigator and its prime driver, the whole euro scheme would end with Germany’s economy greatly enhanced, to the detriment of other eurozone member nations.
A brief summation of results just this year, in the face of what German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called “Europe’s greatest crisis since World War ii,” reveals that what is resulting in a paucity of returns for the many, is rendering great profit for a minority of one—Germany!
The Ifo Institute’s president, Hans-Werner Sinn, stated, “The German economy is still performing relatively well despite the international turmoil.” The federal statistics office Destatis said in a statement, “There was more consumption but also more investment than in the previous quarter” (rte News, November 24).
The data “confirmed that Germany outperformed its neighbors during the three months ending September 30. … In a year-on-year comparison using seasonally adjusted data, German growth hit a robust 2.6 percent in the third quarter, Destatis said” (ibid; emphasis added throughout).
It’s enough to make a Greek weep!
In the meantime, amid the very depth of the euro crisis, German defense industries are having a field day, posting record sales and profits. Spiegel recently reported (November 28):
German companies earned more money in 2010 than ever before through the export of weapons and defense products, according to the government’s annual Defense Exports Report ….
The report states that Germany exported around €2 billion (us$2.66 billion) in war material, an increase of around 50 percent. In 2009, the country exported €1.34 billion worth of defense products. Most of the products exported were high-value armaments like submarines, warships and tanks. In addition, German armaments manufacturers sealed contracts in 2010 with a total value of around €5 billion. About two thirds of the weapons deliveries are to other European Union states or members of the nato military alliance.
A number of the corporations making huge profits at the expense of increasingly heavily-indebted EU nations amid the current euro crisis are the same ones that beavered away producing armaments for the Nazi war machine in the 1930s through the mid-1940s.
Crisis, massive increase in armaments manufacture, a chancellor warning of war if the Continent does not toe the German line—it’s all too much to be just pure déjà vu.
When will the world wake up to the reality that what we are experiencing today is the outcome of a national socialist dream, quelled temporarily in 1945, yet preserved underground till the same old phoenix was ready to rise to threaten Europe and the world with its Holy Roman imperialist agenda yet once again?
“We don’t understand German thoroughness. From the very start of World War ii, they have considered the possibility of losing this second round, as they did the first —and they have carefully, methodically planned, in such eventuality, the third round—World War iii! Hitler has lost. This round of war, in Europe, is over. And the Nazis have now gone underground. … Now a Nazi underground is methodically planned. They plan to come back and to win on the third try.
“The Bible foretells that third round—and it spells doom for us, as God’s punishment, because we, as a nation, have forsaken Him and His ways! The third round is termed, in prophecy, an invasion by ‘Babylon’—a resurrected Roman Empire—a European Union” (notes from a public address, 1945, Autobiography of Herbert W. Armstrong;Volume 2).
Accept it or not, that’s the reality, and we are very soon going to see it play out in all its horrific 21st-century high-tech potential.
Pray God that many wake up to its reality before that time!
