Bill Barr Is Suffering From a Severe Case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (55 minutes)
In an interview yesterday with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr stated that Donald Trump knew he lost the 2020 presidential election. Barr also said he believes Special Counsel Jack Smith has “a lot more evidence as to President Trump’s state of mind” that was not written in the latest indictment. In 2018, Barr criticized Special Counsel Robert Mueller for trying to “divine” whether Trump acted with corrupt motives in his relations with Russia. Now Barr himself is divining Trump’s mindset and ignoring the lack of concrete evidence against him. In a few short years, Barr has gone from a strong supporter of constitutional law to just another “get Trump” hack, showing how quickly a person’s beliefs and values can change once they succumb to Trump derangement syndrome.
