Trumpet Hour: America: ‘Never That Great’?, China Ruling the Waves, America’s Dwindling Merchant Marines, and More
Show Notes
- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo recently said that America was “never that great.” This has become the “enlightened” view in America today. We’ll talk about why he’s wrong and how this view is undermining America’s greatness.
- America’s dominance of the world’s seas is waning and being replaced by another, rising maritime power, China. This Asian giant is snapping up sea gates and cementing its control over a strategically crucial means of power projection.
- Meanwhile, America’s Merchant Marine Fleet has dwindled down to next to nothing. This could leave the United States unable to supply and sustain a long-distance war.
- And I’ll conclude today’s show by talking about how America’s and Britain’s greatest days lie yet ahead.
