Trumpet Hour: America’s Deficit Spending Fantasy, Russia Targets Norway, Fracturing U.S.-Philippines Alliance, and More
Show Notes
- In America, Democratic presidential candidates are proposing spectacularly expensive environmental, health-care and welfare policies. These unrealistic proposals could never be successfully implemented—but sadly, they’re not that different from the way America is already spending.
- Russia has been carrying out cyberattacks against Norway, a NATO member, including jamming its satellite signals during military exercises. We’ll talk about the prophetic implications of these attacks.
- The Philippines has been America’s closest ally in Asia for decades, but the country’s president is turning his back on that alliance in favor of a stronger relationship with China. This highlights the changing geopolitics of Asia and of America’s diminishing influence there.
- I’ll conclude the program by talking about why it’s important, no matter what sort of job you’ve been given, to prove yourself responsible.
