Logan Act Violation? (8 minutes)
When Michael Flynn was transitioning into the White House, he had a phone call with the Russian ambassador. The Obama administration decided Flynn’s call was a violation of the centuries-old, rarely used, Logan Act. At the time, U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy was one of the biggest proponents of prosecuting Gen. Michael Flynn under that obscure act. Over the weekend, Murphy secretly met with Iran’s foreign minister, Javad Zariff.
