The irony is that when Biden made that comment, he was surrounded by likely dozens of Secret Service agents armed with 9-mm handguns to protect him. Biden’s provocative comments are designed to divide America and undermine the U.S. Constitution. America’s founders intended the Second Amendment to be a deterrent against tyrannical government. In America Under Attack, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry writes: “The Second Amendment in the U.S. protects the people’s right to bear arms, but for what? … The main point was to protect the citizens from government tyranny.”
