Treachery on Parliament Hill
The Canadian government is full of traitors, a heavily redacted report published on June 3 revealed. The National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians report exposes that elected officials at municipal, provincial and federal levels are compromised and in the pay of Canada’s enemies.
The treason goes back decades. Canada’s left has a long love affair with China. But under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the infiltration worsened. He copied United States President Barack Obama’s weaponization of the intelligence community against political opponents. As those agencies came under his control, they actively ignored treasonous links between his supporters and the Chinese Communist Party (ccp). The treason has been exposed under Trudeau’s watch, yet he has done nothing—because it keeps him in power.
Redacted Allegations
Agents from China, India, Pakistan and Iran created “clandestine networks” around politicians, staffers, donors and businessmen to steer Canadian policy, the report concluded. They infiltrated the selection process for Canada’s Parliament, working to place those under their influence in safe seats. The report states:
First, a foreign actor offers the influential Canadian money or other favors. This may include direct payments, cash, in-kind campaign contributions, investment in their region, all-expenses-paid trips to the foreign country, or promises of an employment opportunity or a paid position requiring little to no work after leaving public office. This is intended to build a sense of debt or reciprocity. Second, once the Canadian accepts the foreign government’s money or another favor, the foreign actor uses it as a ‘bargaining chip’ to gain leverage over their target.
This is exactly the way the Biden crime family and other top U.S. politicians have enriched themselves.
Some of the most explosive allegations in the report include:
- At least one member of Parliament purposely met with a foreign agent to share important intelligence.
- China was in contact with at least 11 candidates and 13 campaign staffers during the 2019 election.
- Main targets are political staffers: There was evidence of a staffer passing intelligence to the ccp.
- ccp missions included attempting to control election officials and their finances so election results could be manipulated in their favor.
- The Trudeau government was first briefed on these allegations in 2018, but it took no action and allowed compromised M.P.s to remain in office.
Although much was revealed, even more was covered up. The most common phrase in the 84-page report is: “Content was deleted to remove injurious or privileged information.” All specific examples were removed to “protect sources and methods.”
Why won’t Trudeau unmask the conspirators? How do you know your M.P. isn’t compromised? How do you know the last two federal elections weren’t a massive fraud? Why did the winner of the elections—Trudeau—not take action to stop Chinese foreign interference?
These vital questions need to be answered because this is treason.
Yet don’t expect any of the conspirators to be held accountable. On page 67 of the report, the authors expressed their frustration that nothing was being done (emphasis added):
These are particularly concerning examples of behavior by a few Parliamentarians. Some may be illegal, but are unlikely to lead to criminal charges, owing to Canada’s failure to address the long-standing issue of protecting classified information and methods in judicial processes.
Despite even many in the media labeling this as treason, it does not meet the Canadian legal threshold for treason, which requires the intent to cause violence, war or regime change. Other legal punishments under the Security of Information Act, Section 121 of the Criminal Code and the Conflicts of Interest Act would amount to a slap on the wrist. The best we will see is the guilty M.P.s not running for reelection or being expelled from their party.
This is a sharp contrast to Trudeau’s authoritarian crackdown on the Freedom Convoy protesters. If you honk horns and protest against Trudeau’s edicts, you are a national existential threat. Your bank account will be frozen; you will be beaten by police and imprisoned without a warrant. But M.P.s working for China are not a big deal.
This information only covers a five-year period (2019–2024). But foreign interference has been a hallmark of Canadian democracy for a long time.
Old Friends
China and Canada’s relationship stretches back to the 1880s. Christian missionaries from Canada, especially from the Methodist and United Church of Canada, were prolific in China. They lived in China and had children there. This generation of Canadians was fluent in Mandarin, understood Chinese culture, and most importantly, befriended the founders of the ccp. They became known as the “Mish Kids.”
By World War ii, many of the Mish Kids had powerful positions within the Canadian government. They almost single-handedly steered Canada toward warm relations with the Communist Chinese. Many aided Mao Zedong’s conquest of China. Some of the most important Mish Kids were Oscar D. Skelton (who founded Canada’s Department of External Affairs), Lester B. Pearson, Vincent Massay, Hume Wrong and Chester Ronning. Some were ambassadors to China, like Ralph Collins, Charles John Small and Arthur Menzies.
This gave China a lot of influence, which intensified when Pierre Elliott Trudeau became prime minister in 1968. Having visited and admired Mao’s China in 1949, Trudeau became Mao’s most important tool. When Trudeau officially recognized Communist China in 1970, it was part of a broader strategy to coax President Richard Nixon into rapprochement.
Paul Lin, an intellectual from China, was a professor at McGill University and a known ccp agent. He became close to Ivan Head, Trudeau’s foreign policy adviser. Head would call Lin for advice and then advise the prime minister.
However, the ultimate nexus of foreign interference was the establishment of the Canada China Business Council (ccbc). Founded by billionaire Paul Desmarais Sr., Trudeau and the ccp, it promotes stronger economic ties with China. It has given the ccp influence over the Liberal Party of Canada, whose upper echelon all have financial ties to the ccbc.
Desmarais was personal friends with many members of the Politburo in China. He intimidated M.P.s, convinced American presidents (Bill Clinton and George W. Bush), and influenced five Canadian prime ministers into a pro-ccp agenda. (Click here to read more on Desmarais, the Canadian George Soros.) This is why Canada was the first nation to normalize relations with China after the Tiananmen Square massacre.
Justin Trudeau is the chosen one of the Laurentian elite to continue this lucrative business model of treason.
Pattern of Treason
The Desmarais family has also helped import a far more sinister and deadly form of foreign interference.
When Trudeau was first seeking the office of prime minister, a new system of politics was brought into Canada. Gerald Butts, Trudeau’s chief adviser, worked with Barack Obama’s campaign team to bring the “Obama pattern” of elections into Canada. The Desmarais family backed Canada2020, a think tank that brought Obama to Canada to help establish Trudeau’s government policies. The Obama pattern has become a hallmark of Trudeau’s government.
The foreign interference report reveals that the Trudeau government immediately began shaping Canada’s intelligence agencies to operate exactly the same as Obama’s did in 2016:
Canada’s strategic response to foreign interference in democratic processes and institutions must be understood in the context that brought the issue to the fore. As noted earlier, Russia carried out an influence campaign aimed at the United States in the 2016 presidential election with the goal of undermining public faith in the U.S. democratic process and discrediting the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. … This influence effort was complemented by targeted cyberhacks and the release of materials damaging to the Clinton campaign.
The Russians didn’t target the Clinton campaign or interfere in 2016. That entire narrative is a lie. The Obama administration interfered in the 2016 election through the Trump-Russia hoax, with intelligence agencies playing a pivotal role. “These events shaped Canada’s early efforts to counter foreign interference in its elections,” the report stated.
This means Trudeau and the Canadian intelligence community wholeheartedly support Obama’s treasonous coup against Donald Trump. It also means Trudeau’s foreign interference measures and intelligence directives were not intended to stop treason, but to maintain his grip on power. Subsequent events prove this is exactly what has happened.
This is the Obama pattern: It is a pattern of treason.
This is why Trudeau allows China to help him win elections and why he is likely planning to steal the next federal election. After all, that is what Obama continues to do. With the Conservatives in a 20-point lead, and 68 percent of Canadians indicating they think Trudeau should step down, who needs voters when you have traitors in high places?
The Bible warned us of these conditions. 2 Timothy 3:1 says that “in the last days perilous times shall come.” What makes them so perilous? “Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” (verse 4). God warned of arrogant traitors who love personal benefit more than fearing God. Barack Obama has led the fundamental transformation of the Western world: His pattern of treason extends beyond the borders of the United States.
Communist interference from Obama, Trudeau and China causes bitter affliction. God is exposing this treason to show the hopelessness of man’s governments: Everything in Canada is broken to teach us that only the government of God can give us real peace, justice and prosperity. These perilous times end with Jesus Christ returning to establish a kingdom of hope and replace the pattern of treachery with one of righteousness.
