The scale of Donald Trump’s victory was truly impressive. In America’s November 5 presidential election, he won the popular vote and all seven swing states. Republicans held their majority in the House of Representatives and gained control of the Senate. When he resumes office, Trump will have considerable power.

Many people are calling this the greatest political comeback in the history of the nation, or possibly the world. Some are likening it to a resurrection. Some recognize it as a miracle from God. Think of it: This man faced relentless attacks from the moment he began running for president in 2015 and all through his time in office. Even after he left Washington in 2021, the attacks never stopped: He was blacklisted from social media; the fbi raided his home; he was indicted four times; he was the target of persistent media vitriol and at least two assassination attempts. Yet somehow he emerged stronger than ever. In fact, he enters his second term with notably more power than he had in his first or would have had had he continued on in 2021.

Truly, it is a miracle! God has been protecting and empowering this man. In fact—it is more than a miracle: It is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

This is actually a fulfilled prophecy that Trumpet readers were expecting. Trump’s return to the White House has been one of my consistent forecasts over the past four years.

An Unpopular Forecast

I wrote during Trump’s first term that he was fulfilling the prophesied role of an end-time Jeroboam, an antitype of the eighth-century b.c. Israelite king. Some of those prophecies were yet to be fulfilled after one term, so I was certain he would return. When the election was stolen from him, I said the fraud would be exposed and he would recover his office (“Why Donald Trump Will Remain America’s President,” Trumpet, January 2021; theTrumpet.com/23193). I was certain this would be resolved before the 2021 inauguration.

I was wrong about that. Trump left the White House, and Joe Biden was inaugurated. Some people concluded that I had made a failed prophecy, and I can understand that. However, in my next article on the subject, I defended my forecast: “Why I Still Believe Donald Trump Is Coming Back” (Trumpet, March 2021). “I have received some criticism for what I wrote,” that article reads. “However, I want you to remember what I wrote in that article. I am not running away from it. … I based my forecast about President Trump on two prophetic passages I have repeatedly emphasized over the past four years. I know these prophecies will be fulfilled, I am 99.9 percent sure my understanding of them is correct, and anyone can prove them!” (Review these forecasts in our infographic on page 18.)

At that time, nobody thought Trump would return to the presidency. His enemies rejoiced; his allies and supporters were dejected. But often with true Bible prophecy, when circumstances seem the opposite, you still simply have to trust God.

Here is one of those great prophecies I was looking at: “For the Lord saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel. And the Lord said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam …” (2 Kings 14:26-27). Under the rule of Barack Obama, and then his puppet Joe Biden, America was truly in bitter affliction! This says in fact that the very name of Israel was about to be blotted out! And He saved America—to some degree, from 2017 to 2020—by the hand of this modern-day Jeroboam, Donald J. Trump.

Yet the job wasn’t finished. I have pointed to this prophecy repeatedly over the past four years to prove that Trump was coming back. God said so, and God always tells the truth.

“Now the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he warred, and how he recovered …” (verse 28). It was the stolen election that Trump had to “recover”—and he truly had to war to do so! The final chapter in my book America Under Attack is titled “Donald Trump Will War His Way Back.” “In order to return to power, Mr. Trump is going to have to war!” I wrote. “I don’t care how much his enemies hate him—prophecy says Trump will return. … This all must happen because of a miracle from God! And that should be obvious to everybody when it happens, if they are honest.”

Is that miracle obvious to you? This is truly a breathtaking fulfillment of biblical prophecy!

See how this man warred: He endured personal attacks, civil and criminal prosecution, impeachment, rebellion among his own staff, even assassins’ bullets! Through it all, God preserved and energized him and has now exalted him back into power to finish the job He has for him. What happened on Nov. 5, 2024, was miraculous, noble and powerful. And God truly must receive the credit.

Bible prophecy says that Donald Trump is going to lead a resurgence in America. Based on the scale of his victory, this resurgence could be significant and impressive. We must see that this is not the work of a man. This is God’s doing. God issued the prophecy, and God is bringing it to pass.

How wonderful that we can look in God’s Bible, see where He says something will happen—then watch it happen! God always fulfills His prophecies!

This election showed God’s profound love for and mercy toward America. Many people were bracing for unrest and violence. A contested election surely would have sparked grave social strife. The fact that the outcome was so decisive and irrefutable silenced the dissenters and enabled the country to move forward in relative peace. It paves the way for a national resurgence.

Again, in losing and then recovering the presidency, Donald Trump returns to power much stronger than he otherwise would have been. Miraculously, the theft of the 2020 presidential election actually worked to his advantage! Deep corruption was exposed throughout the government, in business, technology, mainstream media and other arenas. The radical left’s agenda proved to be oppressive and dangerous, and Americans rejected it. Trump’s “Make America Great Again” goals of closing the border, deporting illegal migrants, expanding energy production, revitalizing the economy, securing elections, draining the Washington swamp, and shrinking the government has more support than ever.

On top of that, “Never Trump” Republicans revealed themselves. Four years ago, prominent leaders abandoned him, and two years ago at midterm elections, still more did so. It became extremely clear who is truly loyal to Donald Trump. Now, as the president-elect chooses his cabinet and staff, he has far greater understanding of the character of these people than he would have. He is building a team that is determined to accomplish big things and to move quickly.

As you watch this resurgence, always remember 2 Kings 14:26-27. (The book of Kings is part of the former prophets, which are mainly for this end time. Request my free book on this subject, The Former Prophets.) Never forget that it is God who took pity on America in our bitter affliction and saved us—temporarily—by the hand of Donald Trump.

Trust God’s Word!

You have just witnessed a spectacular fulfillment of prophecy. God preserved and protected a man who was universally considered a political corpse! Against all odds, God exalted him back into the presidency in breathtaking fashion. Prophecy said it would happen, and it has.

This should increase your faith in Bible prophecy! Most people ignore it. But did you know that one third of your Bible is prophecy? God inspired and preserved it in Scripture for many important reasons. Above all, it shows God’s involvement in the affairs of this world. God inspired the Prophet Daniel to say regarding another great prophecy: “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men” (Daniel 4:17).

The great God of the universe is taking an active, dramatic part in America’s politics! God rules in the kingdom of men! That is the greatest lesson we can possibly learn!

The Bible is full of prophecies telling us what is going to happen next in America—as well as Britain, the Jewish state of Israel, Germany and Europe, Russia and China, and effectively every other nation! God says, “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55:10-11).

Learn to trust God’s word—even when physical evidence appears contrary to it. Believe His prophecies, and put your faith in the all-powerful God of prophecy—who gives His word and alters the very course of history to fulfill it!
