Russia and India to Deepen Military Cooperation
Russia and India have committed to expanding their joint military drills, Indian state media reported on Thursday. This is part of a larger trend of deepening cooperation between the two Asian giants.
The decision was made at a November 28 meeting of top Russian and Indian officials to discuss military cooperation between the nations. The meeting “marked a significant milestone in advancing the long-standing strategic partnership between the two countries,” said India’s Defense Ministry.
For better or worse: Despite Russia’s recent history of lawlessness and aggression, and despite India’s efforts to present itself as neutral in Russia’s war, this news adds to the evidence that India still stands with Putin.
Since the current war began nearly three years ago, India has been instrumental in supplying Russia with banned AI chips, diplomatic support and thriving trade relations. The plans for expanded military drills show that the Russia-India partnership will continue to deepen.
The Trumpet said: The Bible prophesies of a coming seismic alliance of Asian nations called “the kings of the east.” Russia will be at the head of this alliance, which will include India. This is why the Trumpet watches closely as India strengthens its ties with Russia.
