When news emerged that covid-19 may have leaked from a lab in China, German virologist Christian Drosten followed United States virologist Anthony Fauci’s lead in dismissing the allegations and ridiculing the lab leak theory. However, there are indications both virologists knew more than they admitted at the time. If the allegations are true, world-renowned scientists have committed treason.

Die Welt wrote on July 2, 2021, in “The Origin of the Coronavirus and the Poisoned Laboratory Theory” that the virologists exchanged information by e-mail in January 2020 (Trumpet translation throughout). In a February meeting, they discussed the possibility of an artificial origin of Sars-CoV-2 by using genetic engineering methods. After the meeting they condemned any theories of the coronavirus having an unnatural origin. That’s despite the fact that there has been absolutely no evidence of a natural origin of covid-19 and despite the fact that Drosten and Fauci already knew of the possibility of a leak long before it entered the mainstream news cycle.

The lab leak theory was suppressed because people didn’t want to harm science or China. Dutch virologist Ron Fouchier wrote in an e-mail: “Further debate about such accusations would … do unnecessary harm to science in general and science in China in particular.”

More and more evidence is emerging of an artificial creation of covid-19, which the virologists were aware of.

According to a report obtained by Project Veritas in January, the EcoHealth Alliance approached the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in March 2018 to obtain funding for Project Defuse to conduct gain-of-function research of coronaviruses from bats. Part of the proposal’s aim was to “inoculate bats with immune modulators.” They claimed that manipulating the immune system of bats would then prevent the spread of viruses among bats and thus prevent the spillover to humans. This would make future military missions in the Indo-Pacific safer.

According to reports discussed by Project Veritas, the proposal was rejected by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, which saw it as a violation of the gain-of-function research moratorium. But documents from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases show that under the direction of Dr. Fauci the project proceeded at the Wuhan Virology Lab in China.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology has collaborated with the Chinese military and is controlled by the Chinese government. In “The Fauci Virus,” Trumpet executive editor Stephen Flurry wrote:

PJ Media recently reported that Dr. Fauci wrote an article in 2012 saying that “gain of function” research on bat coronaviruses was worth the risk of a pandemic if it increases our knowledge of diseases. “In an unlikely but conceivable turn of events, what if that scientist becomes infected with the virus, which leads to an outbreak and ultimately triggers a pandemic?” he wrote for the American Society for Microbiology. “Scientists working in this field might say—as indeed I have said—that the benefits of such experiments and the resulting knowledge outweigh the risks.”

Only two years after Fauci defended “gain of function” research, it was banned by the U.S. government.

But apparently Dr. Fauci found a loophole because he is now admitting to U.S. lawmakers that, under his guidance, the National Institutes of Health earmarked $600,000 for the Wuhan Institute of Virology and funneled it to the Chinese lab through the non-profit EcoHealth Alliance. This money was used to study whether bat coronaviruses could be transmitted to humans.

This research may have caused the covid-19 pandemic.

Though they knew about the research in the lab and a possible leak, these top virologists covered up the story. In Germany, this has caused a recent uproar.

Evidence Purposefully Suppressed

Physicist Roland Wiesendanger published his personal research early on in the pandemic indicating that all the evidence suggests that covid-19 escaped from a lab. Various members of the science community sought to discredit Wiesendanger for his research.

In a recent interview with Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Wiesendanger stated that “Mr. Drosten has misled politics and the media” and that “the term ‘conspiracy theory’ was not put into the world by the media, but by scientists,” like Drosten.

In a much anticipated interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung on February 9, Drosten commented on the accusations. Bild summarized the debate and called Drosten out on a few misleading statements.

Drosten defended his claims that the laboratory thesis is less likely than a natural explanation for covid-19. Yet Wiesendanger accused Drosten of ruling the possibility of a laboratory origin out and calling it a “conspiracy theory.” Drosten, however, rejected that accusation, saying: “You can see in all my public statements that I have always been open to both possibilities.” But in February 2020, Drosten signed an open letter published by leading virologists in the scientific journal The Lancet: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories that suggest covid-19 has no natural origin,” the virologists wrote.

In his interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung, Drosten said that he “put his hand in the fire for the colleagues from Wuhan.” Once again its evident the lab leak theory was dismissed to protect China.

But that’s not the end of the story. “Drosten did not just sign a letter categorically ruling out one of the two possibilities for the release of the coronavirus,” Bild wrote. “He took action to stop the spread of the lab thesis.” In May 2020, he called the laboratory origin a “conspiracy area” and explained that he signed a letter from scientists urging social media to counter “nonsense” or false or misleading information surrounding the pandemic.

In turn, Bild noted, Facebook deleted any posting that suggested the virus was man-made. It wasn’t until May 2021 that the corporation changed its community guidelines to allow such discussions again.

“Things were definitely done in Wuhan that could be described as dangerous,” Drosten now admits. But he also discredited supporters of the laboratory thesis as people “who have no contact with this field at all,” while scientists “who know about virus evolution” are “averse” to the “laboratory hypothesis.” After quoting Drosten’s comments, Bild then quoted various internationally renowned scientists in the field who contradict his view.

Evidence suggests that the lab leak theory was purposefully suppressed. The timing of the leak may indicate why.

The Timing

The outgoing Obama administration reauthorized funding for the creation of sars coronavirus biological weapons. It didn’t do this previously because it feared a leak during its own administration. Statements from Dr. Fauci indicate that he expected a pandemic during the Trump administration.

During a forum on pandemic preparedness at Georgetown University in 2017, Fauci said, “No doubt Trump will face surprise infectious disease outbreaks,” and should “plan accordingly.” “There is no question that there will be a challenge to the coming administration in the arena of infectious diseases,” Fauci said. “We’re extraordinarily confident” that “we’re going to see this in the next few years.”

It is hard to imagine Dr. Fauci had the ability to foresee the natural mutation of covid-19 in bats. However, it is entirely feasible that he was able to foresee the research he funded would likely lead to a lab leak sooner or later. It appears Germany, one of Donald Trump’s greatest critics, ended up aiding in covering up the story for the benefit of both the radical left in the U.S. and China. In his article “The Fauci Virus,” Mr. Flurry explained:

Now we have even more documented proof that China was developing covid-19 as a weapon and that the deep state agents in the United States were helping them do so. covid-19 is a man-made plague engineered by radical leftists—on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. You would think that more people in America’s government would be suspicious of the Chinese Communist Party, but it is like the Prophet Isaiah foretold: “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment” (Isaiah 1:4-6).
