What Is Going On in Ohio?
East Palestine, Ohio, could be the site of the greatest environmental disaster in United States history. And the government doesn’t seem to want you to know about it.
A 150-car train carrying toxic chemicals was traveling from Illinois to Pennsylvania on February 3. But on the Norfolk Southern Railway, near Ohio’s border with Pennsylvania, 50 of the cars derailed.
According to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, the train “was not considered a high hazardous material train,” so Norfolk Southern was not obligated to inform the state of Ohio about the highly hazardous materials on board.
After the crash, the chemicals started leaking out. A combination of Norfolk Southern agents and government health officials quickly sent personnel to clean up the area and conduct a “controlled burn” of these chemicals.
The result was dark plumes of smoke rising above Ohio and noxious gas filling the air. And in the week since, cows, chickens, foxes and other animals up to 100 miles away have been dropping dead. Rivers and streams are full of dead fish.
Residents within two miles of the derailment were evacuated before the burn started. Norfolk Southern hired an independent contractor to help determine if the air they had contaminated was safe. Working with local and state health officials, they said it was and that residents could move back in.
The Environmental Protection Agency agreed and said everything was fine. But they also said the chemicals are still being “released to the air, surface soils and surface waters,” and Norfolk Southern contractors are still on the ground. They are involved in the investigation to see if they are guilty of contaminating East Palestine’s air, water and soil.
All the while, the media is focusing on ufos.
They have said next to nothing about this disaster, why the train derailed, Norfolk Southern’s conflict of interest, or the government’s poor attempt to clean up and cover up the derailment.
What is going on?
Contaminants
One of the onboard chemicals was Ethylhexyl acrylate, a carcinogen that can cause coughing and irritation of skin, eyes, nose and throat. Phosgene is another. It was used as a biological weapon in World War i. It can cause headaches, vomiting, blood in the urine, depress the nervous system, increase the risk of liver and brain cancer, and ultimately lead to death.
And there’s also vinyl chloride.
Five of the train cars were carrying this substance. It boils at just 8 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s so toxic that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration says the average human should be exposed to only one part per million of vinyl chloride per 8 hours. Some of it leaked into the ground, and a lot more of it was burned up.
Officials say their tests for the substance are coming back negative. But Purdue University professor Andrew Whelton believes they might not be testing for newly created compounds. “When they combusted the materials, they created other chemicals. The question is what did they create?” he asked.
Burning vinyl chloride creates many byproducts. One of them is hydrogen chloride, which latches on water vapor in the sky and can become hydrochloric acid.
So the train crashed spewed out 100,000 gallons of the hazardous, boiling gas, which basically can turn into acid rain. Millions of gallons of other toxic chemicals were also leaking that get worse when burned—and they were burned by the “experts.”
All because they wanted to get the railroad open and resume the highly profitable chemical transportation as quickly as possible.
“We basically nuked a town with chemicals so we could get a railroad open,” said Sil Caggiano, a hazardous materials specialist. No wonder residents are hesitant to move back in.
And deadly acid rain could pour down on Ohio residents at any moment while also contaminating the Ohio basin, which supplies over 30 million Americans with water.
The Cover-up
Despite the monumental stakes of this disaster, there has been minimal reporting on it for over a week. Government officials instead focused on Chinese balloons and ufos. And when News Nation’s Evan Lambert tried to report on the disaster last Wednesday, he was arrested by National Guard and highway patrol officers.
The Biden administration paints itself as the guardian of the environment. Leftists say they are the conscientious protectors of mother nature. Yet they have overseen and directly brought about what might be the greatest environmental disaster in American history.
After little over a week, scores of fish and animals are dead or dying, the air and water are polluted, and the soil has been contaminated. And there is no way to tell what the long-term toll will be for humans in the coming weeks, months and years.
Air tests have been conducted, but very few water or ground tests. Most chemicals were burned, but others were buried, and the new railroad was simply built over them.
Meanwhile, two more trains in South Carolina and Texas have derailed in the days since the Ohio disaster releasing even more toxic materials! A truck carrying 2,000 pounds of hazardous nitric acid overturned in Arizona yesterday. Power stations are being attacked and food processing plants burning to the ground.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has joked about the spy balloons without saying anything about the complete failure of his department in Ohio.
These environmental disasters mirror the hazardous disaster that currently occupies the White House.
The media, which is essentially an extension of the government, not only has underreported this story, but it has focused on other far less important stories. Even the emerging yet reluctant reports refuse to ask probing questions or hold the government responsible. Many are actually trying to blame the derailment on Donald Trump, who hasn’t been in the White House for two years.
The radical left reflexively deflects, denies and covers up.
“We have seen throughout history—we see now around the world—what happens if we give up on democracy,” Barack Obama said last October. “We can see it in other countries where the government tells you what books you can read and cannot read, countries that put dissidents and reporters in prison, countries where it doesn’t matter who you vote for—the people in power will do whatever they want, where corruption is rampant because there is no accountability.”
He was accusing the Republicans of exactly what the Biden administration, which in reality is his administration, is doing in Ohio. There has been no accountability for the blatant system failure on full display in the Ohio debacle.
Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry writes in America Under Attack: “Look at how leftists are now using their power in the media, technology companies and social media to silence anyone who disagrees with them. They are clamping down on free speech and trampling the supreme law of the land!”
A satanic spirit is ruling over the radical left. It is out of fashion to talk of a devil, but the Bible makes it clear that Satan the devil is real and he has a stranglehold on this world (Ephesians 2:2).
“The radical left has a track record of cheating, stealing and lying. Anyone who acts that way shows that their father is the devil! (John 8:44),” Mr. Flurry continues. “America’s Constitution was never intended to work for such people. It was made for a moral and religious people—not people who lie, cheat, steal and commit violence as a way of life. They don’t believe in God, the Constitution or America.”
The Ohio cover-up shows how bitter America’s affliction is. But God won’t tolerate it for much longer.
