Joe Biden has told the nation and the world what we should think about the current condition of the United States of America. According to Biden, he and his people have done a fantastic job of governance with their two years in power. Yet his abnormally long State of the Union address was one lie following upon another and another.

More than two years into bitter affliction and destruction of this nation by Joe Biden, the pretender to the throne—and by the man who controls him—this State of the Union speech had to be either a major confession of the truth or a massive doubling down on lies to convince you that the truth isn’t true.

Joe Biden told 38 million viewers (down 29 percent from last year) that his government has done a fantastic job. He took credit for banning forced non-compete agreements at burger joints, said inflation has fallen every month for the last six months, said take-home pay has gone up, and said he had created a record 12 million new jobs. This is in a horrid economy, maimed by largely Democrat-driven lockdowns, that is now $31 trillion in debt and headed for much more as Biden and Democrats spend and spend and spend. Then Biden blamed the nation’s problems on Republicans and wealthy people.

In the fairly brief foreign-policy section of the 73-minute speech, Biden did not even directly mention the weeklong flight of the Chinese spy balloon over thousands of miles of the American homeland that had just occurred. He characterized allowing that to take place and not downing it until it was over the Atlantic Ocean as “acting to protect our sovereignty.” Somehow, this was also an applause line for the Democrats in the room, who whooped, whistled and cheered. He also called for working with China “where we can advance American interests and benefit the world.”

Biden also claimed that the crazy man who physically attacked Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s husband was motivated significantly by people who say that the 2020 election—by which Biden came to power—was stolen. The message: If you question my legitimacy, we will associate you with the crazy and the violent, and treat you accordingly.

A couple additional instances of what you could only describe as mind manipulation did not go unchallenged. Biden said that some Republicans want to end Social Security and Medicare, an accusation designed to turn people against his political opponents. Republicans booed and yelled, with Rep. Majorie Taylor Green shouting, “Liar!”

Biden then told a story about a young woman who became addicted to drugs and died of a fentanyl overdose. Republicans shouted out his hypocrisy: Fentanyl is one of the drugs gushing over the southern border, which Biden refuses to close. One member of Congress angrily yelled, “It’s your fault!”

Many Americans chose to watch President Donald Trump’s prerecorded, two-minute “Real State of the Union” address. “Here’s the real state of the union,” President Trump said in his video. “Over the past two years under Biden, millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different countries have stormed across our southern border. Drug cartels are now raking in billions of dollars from smuggling poison to kill our people and to kill our children. Savage killers, rapists and violent criminals are being released from jail to continue their crime wave.”

He warned about the record-high murder rate, the genital mutilation of children, the wasting of huge amounts of money, record-high inflation, declining real wages and high fuel prices, which—as we all know from personal experience—cause high prices across the board. He warned that the weaponized Department of Justice is persecuting political opponents.

Look out your window at your country. Which man is telling you the truth?

President Trump still refuses to accept that Joe Biden even has the constitutional mandate to be giving State of the Union speeches. We are now more than two years deep into an entire alternate reality where someone who stole the presidency in an election coup is accepted by Democrats—and many tired-out Republicans—in politics, journalism and tech. Yet President Trump still rejects the lie, even with Biden in the White House for more than 750 days now, exerting the powers of the presidency, and being treated as legitimate by other elites in America and around the world.

It should be obvious to anyone who watched both state of the union addresses that America is in the middle of a political war. Radical elites on one side are ready to celebrate winning the cultural and political revolution. On the other side, traditional working Americans are trying to defend America’s constitutional system of government. Beyond some heckling of a man who stole the presidency, and who is doing the will of a man who continues to run the nation into the ground behind the scenes, Republicans are barely even alert to the fact that there is a war.

If you recognize the increasingly obvious fact that this nation is bitterly afflicted, you should understand that the Bible actually prophesied the situation we are in. Many Christians recognize that books of the Bible like Daniel contain prophecy. But many do not know that the books of 1 Kings and 2 Kings were also written by prophets and contain prophecy for the latter days. (Request your free copy of The Former Prophets.)

2 Kings 13:3-6 record that in the Prophet Elisha’s lifetime, an enemy attacked the kingdom of Israel and almost destroyed it: “And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all their days. And Jehoahaz besought the Lord, and the Lord hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them. (And the Lord gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents, as beforetime. Nevertheless they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained the grove also in Samaria.)”

God did not allow the Syrians to blot out Israel completely. Verse 5 says, “[T]he Lord gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians ….” 2 Kings 14:26-28 give us additional information about the identity of this savior: “For the Lord saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel. And the Lord said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash. Now the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath, which belonged to Judah, for Israel, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?”

The Bible reveals that King Jeroboam ii reigned 41 years, but most Bible chronologists believe the first several years of his reign were a coregency with his father while he warred against Syria. In any event, the Bible definitely states that Israel would have been blotted out if God had not “saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.” And my father writes in his recently expanded book America Under Attack that President Trump is the end-time type of King Jeroboam ii. God will use him to temporarily save the United States and Britain primarily from a Satan-led movement to “blot out the name of Israel from under heaven.”

Donald Trump is the legitimate winner of the 2020 United States presidential election because he won the most actual votes. God sees him as such. We do not know how long it will be until he reassumes control over the nation, but based on this prophecy, we do know that God will use him to stop the radical left from finally destroying the country before too many more days of bitter affliction go by.

Why will God intervene in the horrible, terminal state of our union? Is it because Americans are righteous and deserve it? It is because of our sins. Our sins—not just of our leaders but of all Americans—are the cause of our weakness and susceptibility to being manipulated in increasingly terrible and maddening ways. Like our ancestors in ancient Israel, we are steeped in sin. God will save this nation, and save it through President Donald Trump, for the purpose of giving us one last chance to repent!
