Report: China Makes Significant Advances in EMP Weaponry
Chinese military researchers have made major strides in developing electromagnetic pulse weapons, a September 6 report by the United States’ Chinese Communist Party BioThreats Initiative said.
Electromagnetic pulse, or emp, weapons are intended to direct massive explosions of energy over a target area. Their induction effects “can debilitate intricate electronic systems and render state-of-the-art military equipment ineffective in moments,” the report notes.
China, with its concerted efforts in military modernization and technological research, has made remarkable advancements in this field.

The authors emphasize the vulnerability of America’s “critical infrastructure, including the electric grids, transportation hubs, and communication networks” to such weapons. Circuitry inside automobiles and mobile phones can also be fried by an emp detonation.
Military vulnerability: Most worrying, the authors write, is an emp’s “ability to disrupt military assets.” America’s warplanes, ships, land vehicles, communication systems and targeting and navigation infrastructure are all believed to be vulnerable to such technology.
China’s rapid advancements in the field of emp weaponry have emerged as a significant concern for the strategic landscape of global security, particularly concerning the vulnerabilities of U.S. military and civilian operations.

Failure to mobilize: Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has warned for nearly 30 years of the United States military’s perilous dependence on vulnerable technologies. In a 1995 article, he discussed an end-time Bible prophecy that could come about as a result of a cyberattack or electromagnetic pulse weapon.
They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
—Ezekiel 7:14
This verse depicts the trumpet of war being blown for the modern countries descended from ancient Israel, mainly America and Britain. Something occurs that causes everyone to expect the military to mobilize, but instead no one goes to battle.
