The “operation” launched from Gaza and the “reaction” of the Israeli Army should both be condemned. The actions of Hamas “did not occur in a vacuum.” Israel’s counterstrike against Hamas “could ultimately backfire.” Those statements by the Latin patriarch of Jerusalem, the head of the United Nations and a certain former United States president are not just a reaction to what Hamas did on October 7, but an effort to block what Israel is trying to do.

Statements like these are crafted and timed to portray Israel as part of the problem rather than the victim of genocidal butchery. As much power as the Latin patriarch or the UN leader might have, the former president, Barack Hussein Obama, exerts far more power.

How is he exerting it? He made some statements of support for Israel, but now it has emerged that Joe Biden, who is controlled by Obama, pressured Israel to delay its ground invasion of Gaza, which finally began over the weekend, three weeks after the massacre.

What an impossible situation for the Israelis. We publicly say we “stand with Israel,” but we are keeping world opinion negative toward you, ignoring the worldwide “kill the Jews” demonstrations, and tying your hand behind your back—even after your grandfathers, grandmothers, husbands, wives, children and babies have been butchered!

People are wondering: Which side are Obama and Biden really supporting?

Every day of delay gave Hamas more time to prepare and more time for people outside of Gaza to diminish the torturing, maiming, mutilating, raping, burning, shooting, amputating, gouging, decapitating and affronting humanity Hamas terrorists committed on October 7.

The New York Post wrote:

In a post on Medium, the former president started by blaming Hamas but spent most of the piece lecturing Israel.

He warned that a callous attitude toward Gazan civilians “could further harden Palestinian attitudes for generations, erode global support for Israel, play into the hands of Israel’s enemies, and undermine long-term efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.”

He acts as if peace is just around the corner if only Israel would play nice.

But why shouldn’t it protect its own citizens first, as other countries do?

That is a great question. Why don’t Obama and Biden want Israel to protect its own citizens as other countries do? Could it be that Obama is on the side of those who teach their children from kindergarten to kill Jews and who celebrate and praise Allah when they actually do it?

Obama is the force who helped keep the Iranian regime in power when sanctions and pro-democracy protests could have weakened or toppled it. He is the president who forced through the unexpected, unwanted, unconscionable Iran nuclear deal. He finished his presidency by signing a measure designed to prevent the U.S. from moving its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem—and quietly releasing $221 million to the Palestinian Authority.

As soon as Obama, via Biden, returned to power following the illegitimate 2020 U.S. presidential election, the State Department was directed to give incentives to Iran to restart nuclear negotiations, revive the Iran nuclear deal Donald Trump had terminated, and even provide Iran $6 billion—which Iranian leaders openly said on U.S. national television they would use however they decide.

This is how Obama’s America treats the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.

Obama, at the very least, supports Palestinian ambitions for a state of their own, which will obviously further weaken the already vulnerable State of Israel. He certainly does not want Israel’s self-defense to interfere with his ultimate plan for the Middle East.

The Wall Street Journal reported that 500 Hamas fighters were specially trained in Iran before the October 7 attack. Yet spokespersons for the Obama-Biden regime continue to downplay the involvement of the Iranian regime—in its so-far-unsuccessful attempt to give it billions of dollars.

The Federalist reported on October 25:

At least 10 times since October 7, President Biden has stated that the Muslim Arab terrorist group Hamas, “does not represent the Palestinian people,” or variations such as “the vast majority of Palestinians are not Hamas,” and “Hamas does not represent the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people.” Top Biden administration officials have repeated the same phrases.

But the Biden administration’s repeated statement isn’t true. In fact, Hamas overwhelmingly represents the Palestinian people.

First, the Palestinians elected Hamas’s Change and Reform party in 2006 (the most recent legislative election), giving Hamas an overwhelming 74 seats. The Palestinian Authority’s (PA) Fatah only won 45 seats. Parties representing other terror groups, e.g., [the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine] party, each won two to four seats. PA dictator Mahmoud Abbas has not held elections for the past 17 years to avoid losing again to Hamas. And last year, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians rallied in the streets to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Hamas.

The Palestinian Center for Polling and Survey Research recently found that 79 percent of Gazans and 71 percent of all Palestinian Arabs favored forming more armed terror groups, like Lion’s Den and Jenin Battalion. Every indication is that most Palestinians want not a “two-state solution” but opportunities to kill Jews until their entire nation is erased.

This isn’t a matter of Palestinians playing nice if only Israel would, as world leaders like Obama portray. The Iranians and the Palestinians want to literally destroy the State of Israel, and Joebama is helping them accomplish this goal with diplomatic support and money.

Obama knows he and the State Department he ultimately controls should make some statements and even take some actions to support Israel while much of the world is sympathetic to the horror its people have suffered. But his motives are shown in how the U.S. caused Israel to delay its Gaza ground invasion. He would probably prefer that the invasion never happen and that world opinion adapt to accept the butchering of over a thousand Jewish men, women and children as the new normal.

My father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, has compared Obama to the ancient Seleucid king, Antiochus iv Epiphanes. Among the flatterers, pretenders and deceivers, Antiochus was the master. Among those who exerted their will on the masses, he exerted his will above all. He used his power of deception to rise like a star from a far lower position to the throne. He exerted power for his own benefit, his own ideology and his own whims. This unique leader used his deceptive power to wage war on the Jews in the second century b.c., attempting to blot out their lives, their faith, their very existence.

The Prophet Daniel said an end-time Antiochus would “cast down the truth to the ground” (Daniel 8:12). We are now living in that end time.

There is more than one Antiochus at work now: A spiritual Antiochus “cast down the truth to the ground” inside God’s Church, and a political Antiochus “cast down the truth to the ground” in America. This is why we at the Trumpet have kept an eye on Barack Obama, even after he supposedly descended from power.

The existence of this “hidden Antiochus” is inferred in 2 Kings 14:26-27:

For the Lord saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel. And the Lord said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.

With the reemergence of Obama, you are seeing the reemergence of the deceiver primarily responsible for the “bitter affliction” America, Britain and Israel are suffering today. It will take a miracle from God to save these three nations. That miracle is coming, and it involves an end-time “Jeroboam”: Donald Trump.

Before President Trump returns, God is going to unmask the political Antiochus who has been exerting his will on the Middle East and on the entire Biden regime. People will see just how sick America and its government really is. The underhanded way Obama is dealing with the Israel-Hamas war is part of this unmasking, but more earthshaking exposures are coming.
