Democrats Admire Dictators
If you needed more proof that the regime media is motivated by animus against Donald Trump, Chairman Xi Jinping’s recent visit to San Francisco highlights the Democrats’ sympathy for Communist dictators.
Three days before China’s dictator arrived in the United States, President Trump promised to “root out the Communists, Marxists, fascists and the radical-left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country that lie and steal and cheat on elections.” The regime media predictably pounced on Trump, labeling him a dangerous authoritarian imitating the dehumanizing rhetoric of Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. Then these same media outlets turned around and questioned whether it was wise for Joe Biden to call Xi a dictator.
In a nutshell, the regime media believes Donald Trump is like Adolf Hitler because he promised to root Communist vermin out of America, but are not sure whether Xi is a dictator even though he runs a one-party state that oversees hundreds of actual concentration camps and actively attempts ethnic “cleansing” of Tibetans and Uyghurs from its borders.
The media is easier on Xi than it is on Trump—and it chides even Joe Biden for stating that he is a dictator. This tells you everything you need to know about the radical left. Television news anchors turn a blind eye to actual atrocities committed by Communists while accusing anyone to the right of the political center of sympathizing with fascists. This is what “tolerance” means to them. As journalist Lara Logan (who is visiting Trumpet headquarters today) has pointed out, those on the left are not identified as such, and those on the right are consistently labeled as such—or worse—to continually move the industry and the society farther and farther left.
Of course, anyone who promises to “root out the Communists” must be destroyed, no matter how much the “reporting” and the rhetoric have to be twisted.
The Washington Post accused Trump of wanting to lock Hispanics in concentration camps. Xi already has 380 concentration camps in Xinjiang. So why aren’t regime media pundits attacking Xi with a fraction of the ferocity they unleash on President Trump? Because they aren’t really concerned about concentration camps.
They are concerned about a conservative president undoing Barack Obama’s fundamental transformation of U.S. politics.
Liberals across America are praising the climate agreement America and China made prior to Xi’s San Francisco trip and accusing Trump of treating slavery in early America casually. Do they oppose the principle of grinding slavery? Then where are the documentaries, the nightly reports or even the social media posts highlighting or even noticing the Uyghur slaves who work China’s rare earth metal mines to build its millions of “clean energy” batteries? Acknowledging the existence of these slaves might make people aware of their Communist taskmasters—and endanger Democratic plans to regulate every private company that emits carbon (which is all of them).
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change executive secretary Christiana Figueres revealed in 2015 the real motivation behind climate talks. She said in the lead-up to the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris (emphasis added):
This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution. This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.
Which economic system has dominated the world for the past 150 years? The free market, also labeled as capitalism: The overall principle that individuals are free to choose whether or not to buy and sell. Progressives know that they cannot accomplish their economic goals without dismantling America’s constitutional form of government and replacing it with a technocratic bureaucracy like the one led so assertively by Xi Jinping. At this point, it is an open secret that Democrats admire not only socialism and communism but socialist and Communist dictators like Xi Jinping.
Donald Trump wants to shrink the enormous U.S. government by at least 50,000 workers. America’s regime media pundits can lambast Trump as a dictator all they like, but they hate him because he wants the government to have less control over your buying, your selling, your family and your life.
“Are you willing to face reality? Most people are not,” my father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, writes in America Under Attack. “Barack Obama has criticized the U.S. Constitution as ‘a charter of negative liberties’ and called it outdated. Liberals in academia, the media and in government believe governing officials should cast off the limitations imposed by the Constitution. America’s founders imposed those restrictions to prevent tyranny! The government is trashing the foundational law of the land and telling us, We don’t need that old law. We know what justice is. You can trust us! Such reasoning paves the way for tyrants! And every tyrant is a tool of the devil.”
The regime media is accusing Donald Trump of crimes that Xi Jinping is actually committing. They are doing it openly, and they are doing it even when the timing and the optics make it obvious that they are egregiously biased. The enemy of the people, you might say. President Trump said openly that America “will never be a Communist country”—and that’s what they hate.
The late Herbert W. Armstrong proved in his most popular book, The United States and Britain in Prophecy, that the English-speaking peoples largely descended from the ancient Israelites. And the Prophet Isaiah foretold that God would send a foreign nation against end-time Israel because of its double standards and moral hypocrisy.
“O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge …” (Isaiah 10:5-6).
Are you living in a “hypocritical nation”?
Radical-leftist sanctimony is a clear example. They oppose Donald Trump rooting out “the Communists, Marxists, fascists and the radical-left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country” while they collude with Communists, Marxists, fascists and thugs to overthrow the “negative liberties” of the U.S. Constitution and establish their own dictatorship. America is mired in hypocrisy and many other sins.
God is going to have to miraculously intervene if this nation is to be spared long enough for people to even have a chance to turn from the sins that led us to where we are now. For all the hypocrisy and hatred arrayed against him, President Donald Trump will have some short-term success in his campaign to rid America of Communists!
