Meeting With Biden Was a ‘Big Win’ for Xi Jinping
Last week’s meeting between United States President Joe Biden and Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping was a “bust from Biden’s perspective” but a “big win” for Xi, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said on November 19. He added that Xi’s victory was especially big “in terms of propaganda.”
“You had American business leaders paying $40,000 to be able to sit with him at dinner. [Xi] got a rousing ovation from a lot of American ceos,” DeSantis said in an interview with cnn.
Xi used his state media to frame China as America’s equal on the world stage and himself as an internationally admired leader. Such messaging is invaluable for Xi during a time when increasing numbers of Chinese are suffering serious economic hardship.
Empty promise: The Biden administration claims that a deal made with Xi to slow the production and export of fentanyl to the U.S. was a victory; in reality, it meant little. China has partnered with Mexican cartels to smuggle fentanyl over the border for years. Despite several promises to curb the vicious policy, the Chinese continue crafting ways to destroy American lives by this method.
They talk about cooperating for fentanyl, as if China doesn’t know the fentanyl is being sent to Mexico and into the United States. Of course, they know. This is part of their national strategy to hurt this country.

Times of the Gentiles: America’s naivety toward China is concerning. China’s ultimate aim is not to cooperate with the U.S. but to challenge American world dominance. Bible prophecy proves this point.
