Putin Announces Reelection Bid
“I will run for the post of president,” Russian President Vladimir Putin commented during a televised military awards ceremony in the Kremlin on Friday.
Putin’s comment was made with his back toward the camera and likely was not intended to be his official announcement. But by picking up his quiet sentiment, a nearby microphone broadcast to the entire world that the 71-year-old ex-kgb spy’s near-25-year reign is all but certain to continue until 2030.
This decision is not at all surprising, save perhaps for the fact that presidential elections continue to be held in a strongman-ruled nation. Due to the certainty of his victory, the coming March 15–17 vote is designed to give a democratic veneer over the dictatorial manner of Putin’s rule.
Why he will win: The Bible foretold the rise of a major “prince” that would arise in Russia in the modern era and wreak havoc on the world. Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry proved in 2014 that Vladimir Putin is that prince.
Putin’s presidency was prophesied in the Bible, and his prophetic role is not yet complete. This means his reelection is sure.
