Russia Drastically Increases Military Spending
Russia will raise its defense spending to 6.8 percent of gross domestic product, up from last year’s 4 percent, according to a new budget signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
This marks the first time in modern history Moscow will spend 6 percent of gdp on defense. This figure is higher than the planned budget for social expenses.
In a recent interview, Putin referred to military spending as a major contributor to Russia’s economic growth.
Why it matters: Bible prophecy warns that Russia, with Putin at the helm, will lead the largest military in history. Its war against Ukraine is advancing several prophecies related to this future force, which will be a major player in World War iii, wreaking havoc on Earth and killing one third of mankind.
