Bannon Case: House Chairman Intervenes, Says Pelosi Subpoena Invalid
As former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon prepares to spend four months in a Connecticut penitentiary starting July 1, the House of Representatives is intervening in the case.
Bannon’s sentence is for defying a 2022 subpoena from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s select committee investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol protest. Rep. Barry Loudermilk, who is investigating the January 6 Capitol protest’s intelligence and security failures, believes the Pelosi-led investigation was “factually and procedurally invalid” and therefore could not lawfully hold Bannon in contempt.
Loudermilk filed an 11th-hour amicus brief on June 26, saying that the Supreme Court “should conclude that the entire prosecutorial process against the applicant was tainted and must be dismissed as a matter of law.”
Green Bay Sweep: Peter Navarro, former director of the White House National Trade Council, is already in prison for defying a subpoena from Pelosi’s select committee investigation.
The radical left is targeting Bannon and Navarro for a specific reason. These two men were the architects of a plan to legally stop Joe Biden from taking office. This plan was supposed to unfold on Jan. 6, 2021, but it did not involve riots at the Capitol.
Dubbed the Green Bay Sweep, this plan involved 100 congressional representatives presenting enough evidence of election fraud to convince Vice President Michael Pence to block the certification of the Electoral College votes from pivotal swing states. But the violence that broke out caused most Congress members involved in the plan to lose their nerve.
Election steal: Accusing Bannon and Navarro of stirring up violence at the Capitol makes no sense, as it was the violence that derailed their plan to expose the stolen election. The main reason the radical left is specifically targeting these two men with such vitriol is that they have done more than just about anyone to expose the illegitimate Biden administration.

President Trump is a type of Jeroboam ii. God is using him to temporarily save America from the forces seeking to destroy it. He will have to fight to recover office, and Bannon’s imprisonment might be the next step in this fight.
