More Top Democrats Call on Joe Biden to Drop Out
Texas Rep. Lloyd Doggett broke the ice last week when he became the first sitting member of Congress to call on Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential election. He has since been joined by:
- Washington Rep. Adam Smith
- New York Rep. Jerry Nadler
- California Rep. Mark Takano
- New York Rep. Joe Morelle
- Minnesota Rep. Angie Craig
- Illinois Rep. Mike Quigley
- Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton
- Arizona Rep. Raúl Grijalva
Barack Obama’s former campaign strategist David Axelrod noted on July 7 that Democrats will lose the 2024 election “by a landslide” if Biden remains their nominee. More top Democrats will undoubtedly join the growing chorus calling for Biden to step aside. Yet as of July 8, Biden was adamant that he would not quit.
Puppet master: Conservative Treehouse writer Mark Bradman, known as Sundance, astutely predicted that “James Clyburn and Barack Obama are the two Democrats who could unilaterally remove Joe Biden by withdrawing their support.” Representative Clyburn has already declared his support for Kamala Harris if Biden leaves the race.
Yet Obama has not withdrawn his support for Biden. Since he wields great influence in the Biden administration, Obama may be reluctant to back someone he has not worked with closely.
Political war: American politics have become a political war between two diametrically opposite candidates: Barack Hussein Obama and Donald John Trump.
In “What Will Happen After Trump Regains Power,” Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry explained that President Trump was the legitimate winner of the 2020 election. He further said that the Bible prophesies Trump’s return to power, yet this return will not come easy. Trump “will have to fight for it. It doesn’t have to be military action, but it certainly could,” he wrote.
This forecast is based on an end-time prophecy in 2 Kings 14:26-28. God used President Trump to save America from the radical Marxist forces seeking to destroy it in 2016, and now Trump will have to fight to recover the office stolen from him during the 2020 presidential election. A last-minute substitution of a new political candidate instead of Joe Biden would be a dramatic development in this fight for America.
