Report: Minimally Trained Agents Guarded Trump in Pennsylvania
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley said on Tuesday that according to unspecified whistleblowers, most of the agents assigned to protect Donald Trump when he was shot were Homeland Security personnel with mere hours of online training.
Why it matters: If true, this at least indicates woeful negligence among those responsible for protecting Trump. It also adds to the suspicion that the July 13 assassination attempt was a setup.
- Hawley specified that “the only reason we have this information is because of whistleblowers”—not a single investigative report on the assassination attempt included this information.
Details: According to Hawley, instead of dozens of Secret Service personnel, President Trump received agents who normally work cases like child exploitation and child endangerment.
“They don’t normally do protective detail work at all,” Hawley said. The only training these agents got was “a two-hour, online webinar. And I’m told that half the time, the sound to the webinar didn’t even work.”
All of this supposedly happened in the midst of reports that Iran was trying to assassinate Trump.
So think about this: The former president of the United States … is sent out on stage, most of the people there are not trained, they’re not qualified. They only got a webinar training, and even that didn’t work.

Prophetic perspective: The Bible prophesies that Donald Trump will face attack from all sides. We don’t know all the details behind the assassination attempt, but numerous factors point to a setup.
