America is suffering under a justice system that is deliberately unjust. And every time it reaches a new low, it goes even lower.

On December 1, after repeatedly stressing that no one is above the law, not even the president, Joe Biden granted his son Hunter a “full and unconditional pardon” for any “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014, through December 1, 2024.”

You read that right!

The presumed president of the United States just pardoned his own son of any offenses against the U.S. he may have committed in the past decade. Even many Democrats are concerned about this nakedly obvious double standard.

Six months ago, Biden ruled out pardoning his son, telling reporters, “I abide by the jury decision. I will do that and I will not pardon him.” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre backed up Biden’s claim and told the press on six occasions that Biden would definitely not pardon his son. Yet after Donald Trump won the 2024 U.S. presidential elections, Biden changed course and decided to give Hunter a blanket pardon for anything he may have done.

Maine Democrat Rep. Jared Golden said, “As a father, I understand the desire to do everything you can to help and protect your children,” but he added, “I worry such a sweeping pardon for a close family member sets an unfortunate precedent that undermines trust in the office of the president.” Other Democrats were even more critical of Biden’s decision.

Arizona Democrat Rep. Greg Stanton said, “I respect President Biden, but I think he got this one wrong. This wasn’t a politically motivated prosecution. Hunter committed felonies, and was convicted by a jury of his peers.” Meanwhile, Colorado Democrat Sen. Michael Bennet said, “President Biden’s decision put personal interest ahead of duty and further erodes Americans’ faith that the justice system is fair and equal for all.” It is hard to argue with such factual statements.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder is trying to defend Biden’s decision, but his party is waking up to the two-tiered standard of justice in America. We have one set of laws for Washington insiders and another for everyday Americans.

Donald Trump pointed to this fact when he questioned why Biden was not showing the same lenience toward the January 6 protesters languishing in prison on trespassing charges they have not been convicted of yet. That is a great question! It really does seem like the Bidens are advertising the fact that they consider themselves above the law.

Of course, some Democrats are trying to spin this pardon as the sentimental act of an overly indulgent father. But this shameful pardon is about much more than that. Joe Biden certainly is being a respecter of persons regarding his son, but his blanket pardon is about protecting the entire Biden crime family from investigation and prosecution.

Research group Marco Polo compiled a 630-page analysis of one of Hunter’s laptops, documenting how he violated 459 violations of state and federal laws. These include 191 sex offenses, 128 drug offenses and 140 business crimes. These crimes implicate Joe Biden, as well as Joe’s brother James, his sister-in-law Sara, and five other members of the Biden crime family. So the fact that Biden pardoned Hunter of everything from Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 1, 2024, is significant. He is trying to prevent the entire Biden crime family from being exposed.

In his official statement pardoning his son, Biden said that people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form and that those who are late paying their taxes are typically given non-criminal resolutions. Then he pardoned Hunter for everything he may have done over the past 10 years. Why not just pardon him for tax evasion and illegally purchasing a firearm? The reason is that Hunter is actually guilty of much worse crimes than he has been charged with so far. The tax evasion charges were just the beginning.

Former U.S. pardon attorney Margaret Love noted that Hunter Biden and Richard Nixon may be the only two people in American history pardoned for offenses they have not been charged with yet. This fact should raise some alarms. The blanket pardon Joe Biden gave his son starts in 2014, just before Hunter started working for Burisma Holdings Ltd. Russian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky has admitted to paying one $5 million bribe to Hunter and another $5 million bribe to Joe. So it should be easy to see why Joe Biden wants Hunter pardoned for everything he did since 2014. cnn commentator Scott Jennings recently asked fellow panelist Karen Finney why Hunter needed “an 11-year blanket pardon going back to 2014, when Joe Biden was the vice president?” He then answered his own question, saying, “We are sitting on the biggest cover-up of who knows what crimes, and Joe Biden amazingly knows exactly, roughly when it started. He knows just about when it all started. He’s leaving office in complete and total disgrace.”

When you start hearing such statements about the Bidens on cnn, you know that Biden family corruption has finally become so obvious that even the most left-wing news networks cannot deny it. Everyone can see that Joe Biden considers Jan. 1, 2014, as the start of the Biden crime syndicate, and the fact that Biden is publicizing this date in an official presidential proclamation is a show of force. The radical left isn’t even trying to appear impartial. Instead, they are flaunting their double standard. They want you to know that there is one standard for people like Hunter Biden, and there is another for January 6 protesters and people like Donald Trump. What you are seeing in our justice system is a brazen advertisement of the fact that leftists are America’s new aristocracy—and you better obey them or else.

Trump will likely have some success in declassifying and exposing the evil acts of the “deep state,” but even he cannot overturn a presidential pardon. So bringing the Biden family to justice may be impossible. But even if the Bidens go unpunished, God still wants the American people to see the depth of the corruption in their government so they have a chance to make changes as a nation.

This is America’s last chance to repent. That is why God is ensuring so much corruption is exposed: He is trying to awaken people to the evil around us—and to the pitiable fragility of our sinful society—to prod us to repentance.
