Report: Ruthless Tactics Have ‘Swung Ukraine War in Russia’s Favor’

Russia’s widespread use of convicts for use as cannon fodder in Ukraine and its broadscale use of glide bombs are among the ruthless tactics that are turning the tide of the war in Russia’s favor, Business Insider reported on December 30.

Expendables: In nearly three years of full-scale war, an estimated 700,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded or have deserted. To mitigate these losses, waves of underequipped and undertrained convict units are being fed into the meat grinder of the front line.

Russia is also using thousands of North Korean troops in the war. These policies allow for more experienced and better trained Russian soldiers to focus on taking vital territory.

March to Pokrovsk: Russia is well on its way to taking Pokrovsk, a critical Ukrainian stronghold. Conquering this crucial logistics hub would mark a major setback in Ukraine’s abilities to move weapons and men to and from the front lines.

Glide bombs: Another telling sign of Russia’s determination to conquer Ukraine is its widespread use of devastating glide bombs. Russia’s fab multiton bombs were originally made to be dropped from aircraft, which forces the planes to fly well within enemy range and means the bomb has poor accuracy. But in March, Russia began adding pop-out wings and advanced guidance systems to the units, turning them into far more effective glide bombs.

At the time, geostrategist Peter Zeihan warned, “This shift in Russian strategy should be setting off alarms for the rest of the world.”

Seismic alliance: The Bible prophesies of a coming Asian alliance, dominated by Russia, that will field an army of 200 million menlarger than any this world has ever seen. This alliance will fight in a third world war. This is why the Trumpet watches as Russia uses every means possible to conquer Ukraine, becoming an ever more terrifying war machine.
