President Trump Creates White House Faith Office

President Donald Trump just announced the creation of a White House Faith Office led by Paula White, who has been one of Mr. Trump’s closest religious advisers for many years.

  • Paula White is an American televangelist linked to the Pentecostal movement and the prosperity gospel, a controversial belief that faith in God brings material wealth.

President Trump made his announcement at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., on February 6. It is part of a series of sweeping faith-based initiatives, including a new presidential commission on religious liberty and an executive order targeting anti-Christian bias.

“It was faith that led the pilgrims to cross an ocean and settle this majestic continent, and we’re going to keep it majestic,” Trump told 3,500 assembled guests in the Hilton International Ballroom. “Here in America, we are, once again, a nation that believes in ourselves. We believe in our destiny and trust in the providence of Almighty God.”

Religious movement: President Trump’s new presidential commission on religious liberty will be headed up by Attorney General Pam Bondi since the purpose of this commission is to prevent legal discrimination. The White House Faith Office will be comprised mainly of religious advisers.

The office replaces the White House’s Faith and Opportunity Initiative from Mr. Trump’s first term, which was revoked when Joe Biden took office.

Exit polls from the 2024 presidential elections indicate that 63 percent of Protestant voters and 59 percent of Catholic voters cast a ballot for Donald Trump.

King’s chapel: Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has shown how President Trump is an end-time type of King Jeroboam ii. In the April 2017 Trumpet issue, he showed that a prophecy in Amos 7:12-13 says this end-time Jeroboam will be supported by a religious movement called the “king’s chapel” and a secular government entity called the “kingdom’s court.”

The White House Faith Office is part of the king’s chapel, while the U.S. Supreme Court is part of the kingdom’s court. Both institutions were vital to Mr. Trump’s election win.
