Xi Signs Orders to Prepare China for War

Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping signed three orders to improve his nation’s combat readiness, according to a statement by China’s State Council Information Office published Saturday.

  • The three actions aim to reform the efficiency of military command, address standards of appearance and conduct, and refine procedures regarding rewarding the successful and punishing offenders.
  • They will take effect April 1.

“The revisions to the regulations prioritize combat readiness as the foremost duty, with a fundamental orientation of preparing for and engaging in warfare,” read the statement.

Heading for war: China is determined to dominate Taiwan and eventually all of Asia and beyond. It will let nothing stand in its way of these ambitions, even if it means driving the world toward cataclysmic war.
