Germany, Mexico Strengthen Ties With Bi-National Commission
On Tuesday, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier met with his Mexican counterpart, José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, in Berlin. The two nations are attempting to form a bi-national commission to strengthen cooperation.
Germany and Mexico agreed to hold their first joint commission in June. They want to develop projects together in environmental policy and other fields.
The foreign ministers held a joint press conference after the meeting. Meade said that Mexico’s most important goals include developing relations with Germany.
Such bilateral negotiations are common among countries; however, the Trumpet believes closer cooperation between Mexico and Germany will lead to something much greater.
Bible prophecy shows that the United States’ relations with its allies and neighbors will greatly deteriorate. The German-led European Union will lay an economic siege against the U.S. Increased cooperation between Mexico and Germany is a small step toward that situation.
