The United Nations Supports Terrorism

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres invoked Article 99 on Wednesday regarding the conflict between the State of Israel and Hamas terrorists. He invoked it not against the terrorists’ October 7 genocidal mass rapes, torture, abductions and slaughter of Jewish families but against the invasion to neutralize Hamas, just as Israel Defense Forces approach Khan Yunis, the last terrorist stronghold in southern Gaza.

‘Threat’ to peace: Article 99 permits the head of the UN to raise “any issue that may aggravate existing threats to the maintenance of international peace and security” to the attention of the Security Council. The article does not legally harm Israel, but it does indicate the UN disapproval of Israel’s attempts to eradicate terrorism from the Gaza Strip.

Wednesday’s invocation is rare—the article’s first use since 1989. Presumably, Guterres, who has been in office since 2017, believes terrorists in Gaza are in a more dire situation than the citizens in Ukraine or Israel.

Rising anti-Semitism: This irrational bias against the Israeli state was prophesied. The Bible foretells that this trend will worsen. Israel will soon become the clear center of world events, largely sprouting from this intensifying hatred.
