Fulton Fani Targets Trump, Destroys Her Own Career
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis badly embarrassed herself when she unexpectedly showed up to testify at her own misconduct hearing. She did not have to testify. Her own lawyers did not want her to testify. But on February 15, she strutted into the courtroom to testify. Displaying confident body language and assertive speech, she repeatedly and defiantly contradicted the prosecution at every turn and even talked back to the judge in a brash attempt to defend her reputation.
Willis’s lawyers were smart to try to keep her away. Her angry retorts only made her look more guilty!
As those following this case know, Willis convinced a grand jury to charge President Donald Trump (along with 18 other defendants) with 13 felonies due to their requesting investigations into voter fraud in Georgia during the 2020 presidential election. The indictment describes them as members of a “criminal organization” who “knowingly and willfully joined a conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump” and committed multiple acts of “racketeering.”
The indictment and its unusual characterizations of Mr. Trump and his codefendants (“This criminal organization constituted an enterprise”) depend heavily upon Georgia’s somewhat problematic Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, and upon Willis’s known penchant for applying it liberally to cases that have nothing to do with organized crime. This attempt to “get Trump” is legally shaky in the first place, and Willis made it worse by engaging in adultery and related misconduct—then made that worse by testifying about it.
On the one hand, there is an enormous amount of power arrayed against President Trump. On the other hand, Willis and other pawns in this onslaught find themselves being exposed and defeated over and over again.
Why? Who is behind all this, and will he succeed?
As Willis prosecuted President Trump, it became common knowledge that she was committing adultery with Nathan Wade, whom she hired as a special prosecutor for the case. Hearings were scheduled to determine whether Willis had committed misconduct or had a conflict of interest. Prosecutors asserted that Wade used legal fees to buy Willis lavish getaways and hid that income and expenditure from the court during his divorce from his wife and stay-at-home mother of 20 years. In addition to this scandal, Willis appears to be in collusion with Joe Biden’s White House. According to Fox News, Willis visited the White House to coordinate her targeting of Trump with the man who stole his presidency.
Willis had already admitted that she committed adultery with Wade before she took the stand on Thursday, so her lawyers wanted her to lay low for a while. But she chose to argue before the court and the whole world that the adultery did not indicate or produce a legal conflict of interest. Despite claims to the contrary, she angrily denied that her adultery with Wade started before she began prosecuting Trump. She also denied that Wade took her on trips using money he received after she hired him. She claimed to have reimbursed Wade for their vacations using off-the-books cash she stored in her house.
“You think I’m on trial,” Willis boldly told a prosecutor. “These people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020,” she added while pointing toward the table of attorneys representing Trump and his associates. “I’m not on trial, no matter how hard you try to put me on trial.”
Even the liberal news outlet msnbc admitted that “the damage done to the public’s perception of the [Willis] case is incontrovertible.” Willis’s disastrous hearing took public attention away from Trump’s phone call and put it on Willis’s sex scandal. It is now likely that a judge will disqualify Willis from the case.
This is great news for Trump. He should have never been charged in the first place for calling Georgia’s secretary of state to investigate election fraud when there is evidence of more than 600,000 illegal votes in Georgia. But since he was charged, having the truth exposed about Willis is good news.
Ironically, Willis probably could have avoided such a career-ending mistake if she had taken her lawyers’ advice and stayed away from the trial. But it’s like King Solomon wrote: “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom” (Proverbs 11:2). Willis has accused her prosecutors of lying, but she will likely be exposed as the liar.
It’s stunning how many of Trump’s accusers have been undone in adultery scandals. We likely would have never found out about the Russiagate hoax if not for the text messages between Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Peter Strzok and his lover, Lisa Page. Rather than learn from this history, Willis and Wade repeated the same mistake.
Former fbi General Counsel Andrew Weissmann recently stated that if text messages from Wade’s attorneys contradict Willis’s statements that she paid for her share of her romantic getaways with Wade, then Willis could be disqualified from the Trump case on grounds that she was prosecuting the president to pay for her vacations.
You just can’t make this stuff up! Fox News’ Laura Ingraham summarized Willis’s fall from grace extremely well. “Fani Willis is a leftist who thought that this case would catapult her to political fame,” she said. “Maybe even the Senate or governor’s mansion because it would be Fani the Trump Slayer. And she was so full of herself, she thought no one would notice when she hired her married boyfriend as her lead Trump investigator.”
This is exactly the same type of arrogance and hypocrisy that brought down Strzok and Page. Whether you’re talking about Strzok and Page or Willis and Wade, both couples were so confident they could destroy Trump that they barely bothered to cover up their adulterous affairs with coconspirators. Now Strzok has been fired from the fbi, Willis is about to be disqualified from the Trump case, and Trump is set to win the 2024 election.
The attempt to “get Trump” indeed traces back to the White House and Joe Biden—but it goes even farther than that. It ultimately traces back to the D.C. neighborhood of Kalorama and Barack Obama! And he will use anyone and use up anyone he can to try to stop President Trump.
Democrats keep laying snares for Trump, but they always get caught in these snares themselves. This is just what my father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, predicted. “The devil has successfully used the radical left to attack America, the superpower of end-time Israel,” he wrote in “Why I Still Believe Donald Trump Is Coming Back.” He continued:
But God intervened and stopped him—temporarily—by the hand of President Trump. That has enraged them all the more. They have committed several treasonous acts trying to ruin President Trump—ceaseless condemnation, spying, a groundless three-year criminal investigation, impeachment. These attacks were all based on grotesque lies—and they know it and don’t care! That is diabolical evil!
God sent President Trump specifically to deal with that evil and to save Israel temporarily. That work is not complete. So this too shows he is coming back.
Amos 7:8 states, “And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more.” God warns that, because of our sins, He will measure out the destruction of America and other nations descended from Israel.
My father wrote:
We have been watching this prophecy since June 1990, in the second issue of the Trumpet we ever produced. It speaks of a time when God is preparing to measure the destruction of end-time Israel—the United States and Britain—and He says, “I will not again pass by them any more” (verse 8). This is just before severe correction comes on these nations if they don’t repent. They are receiving their final warning.
My father has recently emphasized that Amos 7 begins by prophesying the two presidential terms of Barack Obama. Treason against America permeated his eight years in office, his attempt to stop Trump from being elected, “deep state” subversion even after President Trump took office, stealing the 2020 election from the American people, and almost a year of pushing an even more radical agenda, still underway.
As shown in Amos, God twice spared America from destruction. He saved it “by the hand of Jeroboam,” and that leader will have to “war” in some way to return to power (2 Kings 14:27-28). These prophecies are why the Trumpet continues to assert that President Trump will return to power. We do not know exactly how this will unfold, but there is a real chance that nation-shaking fraud will be exposed long before the next election!
