Russia Hits Civilian Targets in Ukraine, Including Children’s Hospital, Killing Dozens
Russia carried out a massive missile attack across Ukraine on July 8, striking civilian targets that included the largest children’s hospital in the nation.
- Russia struck civilian sites, mainly apartment buildings, in five Ukrainian cities.
- Ukrainian forces intercepted 30 missiles, but eight broke through defenses.
- At least 36 people, all civilians, were killed by the Russian aggression.
- More than 150 people were injured.
- The casualties include at least 2 dead and 16 injured in the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv.
- It marked Russia’s deadliest wave of missile strikes in several months.
