Secret Service Assured Butler Police It Would Guard Crooks’s Sniper Perch

United States Secret Service agents had assured Butler County, Pennsylvania, law enforcement officials that they would secure the building from which Thomas Crooks shot Donald Trump on July 13. A letter from Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley to acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe revealed this on Tuesday.

Why it matters: If nothing else, this shows extreme negligence by the Secret Service. But it also adds to the facts supporting Crooks’s attempt was a setup.

Details: According to Grassley’s investigation, Secret Service agents told local law enforcement officials that they would cover the agr complex buildings during a July 11 security walk-through.

Butler County law enforcement officials said they told the Secret Service counter sniper that they didn’t have the manpower to cover the agr complex buildings and asked that the whole area be “locked down” and to not let people in that area …. Butler County law enforcement officials stated that at separate times during the walk-through, when they reiterated their concerns to the agents and counter sniper about securing the agr complex buildings, the agents responded: “We will take care of it.”

  • Local law enforcement officials told Grassley’s staff that those buildings were specifically flagged for two Secret Service agents and a Secret Service counter sniper.

This conflicts with what Rowe said in a July 30 hearing on the attempt: “What was communicated is that the locals had a plan [concerning the agr buildings] and that they had been there before.”

  • Grassley said that Butler law enforcement officials disputed that claim directly.

Secrecy: Grassley’s letter condemns the Secret Service for refusing to respond to his staff’s inquiries. This also contradicts what Rowe said in his hearing: “Sunshine is the best disinfectant, and we intend to provide information to Congress as it carries out its oversight function.” Grassley expressed irritation in this matter several times.

  • Because of Rowe’s secrecy, Grassley “had to work around the Secret Service to get answers.”

Other failures: Grassley’s investigation received reports from whistle-blowers that show further Secret Service failures:

  • Butler County counter snipers were placed “inside [the] agr building.”
  • 16 of the 22 agents assigned to the event were from “other federal agencies.”

Prophesied attack: The Bible specifically prophesies that an end-time Jeroboam, who Trumpet editor in chief has proved to be Donald Trump, would face attacks from every direction.
