Le Pen, Enemy of Germany, Eliminated
“I’m not saying the gas chambers didn’t exist. I haven’t seen them myself. I haven’t particularly studied the question. But I believe it’s just a detail in the history of World War ii,” Jean-Marie Le Pen, founder of the French National Front, said in 1987.
After he refused to acknowledge the historic importance of the Holocaust again in 2015, Le Pen’s daughter, Marine Le Pen, banned him from his own party and later changed the party’s name to National Rally.
Her more moderate approach of avoiding racist comments gained her popularity and allowed the party to rise to be the largest party in France’s Parliament.
But today the Paris Criminal Court has banned Marine Le Pen from running for political office for the next five years. Not because of any controversial statements of her own (although there are plenty), but because she allegedly misused funds provided by the European Union.
Under her guidance, her party allegedly misused €4 million (us$4.3 million) of European Parliament funds to pay staff in France. The EU, which has long seen Le Pen as an unwanted critic and opponent, has found a way to destroy her political future.
Current polls indicate Le Pen would have won the presidential election in 2027. While she will likely try to appeal the ruling, it is feared that even if she is successful in court it will be too late for her politically. Le Pen’s protégé, Jordan Bardella, who succeeded her as leader of the National Rally in 2022, is now hoped to be the party’s future. But at just 29 years old, many doubt his qualifications. Thus, the court ruling has profound implications.
In a way, Le Pen’s political end isn’t something to bemoan. In 2017, she caused an outcry after claiming that the French Nazi-collaborationist Vichy regime “was not France.” She added: “I think that generally speaking if there are people responsible, it’s those who were in power at the time. It’s not France.” This blame-shifting mixed with her national-socialist agenda makes her unfit for office.
If Le Pen were ever to become ruler of France, her true colors would eventually come out. Under her rule, France would transform into a country casting off its historical guilt into a more socialist economy. And its society would slowly be purged of non-French people.
But this isn’t why she has been banned from running for office.
Many European elites pursue similar goals as Le Pen and seek to cleanse Europe from its historical guilt of committing and collaborating in the Holocaust and countless waves of pogroms against Jews. What the elites in Europe are actually concerned about in regards to Le Pen is what her rule would mean to European unity and, in particular, relations to Germany.
Le Pen is a known critic of the EU. She has called for France’s exit from the union and for reintroducing the national currency. Since neither topics are particularly popular, she has softened her stance on these. However, she has not softened her criticism of Germany.
In 2022, Le Pen called joint arms programs with Germany “the absolute negative of the French strategic identity” and claimed that “strategic differences” between the two countries “are irreconcilable.” She also said she would not support Germany’s “demand for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.”
Unsurprisingly, she is a strong opponent of sharing France’s nuclear bombs with Germany.
It is noteworthy that it was a German, European Parliament President Martin Schulz, who started the allegations against Le Pen in March 2015.
The EU and Germany prefer French President Emmanuel Macron, whose ideas about the EU and Germany couldn’t be more different from Le Pen’s.
Macron has tried to twist the democratic system to cancel the votes of millions of people to keep Le Pen out of power. He has expressed his deep “love” for the European idea and Germany, specifically. In 2019, he signed a new treaty of Franco-German cooperation and integration in Aachen. Most recently, he has shown himself willing to share France’s military power and nuclear bombs with Germany in a European alliance.
Commenting on a 2018 speech that Macron delivered in the German parliament, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote:
Why would the French president say “France loves [Germany]”? There is an important reason we all must grasp!
These words from Macron were, I believe, a signal that France will never again have the will to stand up to Germany. The French today want to be close friends and allies with Germany, and they are prepared to go to great lengths to support Berlin. That is what Macron means by saying, “France loves [Germany].” It is really a groveling statement. Germany is Europe’s master, and it is as if France is begging to share in Germany’s power! …
The Bible prophesied that France would betray Britain and America. France is doing so right now by turning to Germany.
The Bible reveals that a union of 10 kings heading 10 nations or groups of nations would form a close political and military alliance. In this alliance, France is prophesied to play second fiddle to Germany. Learn more about these astonishing detailed prophecies in “France Rejects America—and Empowers Germany!”, by Gerald Flurry.
Revelation 17:13 reads, “These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” This verse reveals that 10 European leaders will give their power to a political empire led by Germany. It appears evident that a critic of Germany like Le Pen will not be leading France into this prophesied alliance. The attempts to destroy her political career thus align with prophetic expectations.
